TV mounting & media walls

A screen on the wall, and not one visible cable

Anyone can hang a bracket. We locate real structure, set the screen at the right height for how you actually sit, and hide power and HDMI inside the wall with a code-compliant recessed outlet — not an extension cord buried in drywall.

  • Recessed in-wall power
  • Brick & fireplace mounting
  • Cat6 + HDMI in-wall
  • $2M insured
  • Fixed written price

Two ways we help

New installation, or fixing what is already there

Roughly half of our work is repairing systems installed by someone else. Pick the track that matches your situation.

New installation

A screen on the wall and nothing else visible

We locate studs or specify the correct anchor for brick, block, or steel, set the screen at seated eye height, then run a recessed in-wall power kit and low-voltage conduit so every cable disappears legally and safely.

  • Stud, masonry, or fireplace mounting assessed before quoting
  • Fixed, tilting, full-motion, or above-fireplace pull-down mounts
  • Recessed in-wall power kit — no cord below the screen
  • HDMI, ethernet, and speaker cable run in-wall
  • Soundbar, streaming device, and universal remote configured

Fix an existing system

Crooked mounts, dangling cords, dead HDMI

We re-anchor screens that were hung on drywall alone, hide cabling that was left exposed, and untangle the receiver-and-remote mess that makes a good TV frustrating to use.

  • Re-anchoring screens mounted without stud contact
  • Leveling and re-centering an existing mount
  • Retrofitting concealment on an already-mounted TV
  • HDMI, ARC, and CEC handshake troubleshooting
  • Relocating a TV to a new wall or room

What's included

Everything inside a NovaProHome install

Engineered, permitted where required, and documented before we leave your driveway.

Structure verified first

Studs located, or the correct anchor specified for brick, block, plaster, or steel stud before anything is drilled.

Height set for seating

Screen center placed against your actual seating distance and eye level, not a default 60 inches off the floor.

Code-compliant power

A recessed in-wall power kit with a proper receptacle. Running a standard power cord inside a wall violates code — we never do it.

Low-voltage conduit

HDMI, ethernet, and speaker cable pulled through in-wall rated conduit so future upgrades need no new holes.

Above-fireplace done right

Mantel heat measured and a pull-down or tilting mount specified so the screen sits at a viewable angle.

Soundbar integrated

Soundbar mounted, ARC configured, and volume mapped to one remote.

Clean patchwork

Any cut agreed with you in advance, then patched and ready for paint.

EE-reviewed

All power work reviewed by a credentialed Electrical Engineer.

Common questions

TV mounting & media walls FAQ

How much does TV mounting cost in Northern Virginia?

A standard stud mount starts at $249. Adding a recessed in-wall power kit with concealed HDMI typically brings a 65 to 85 inch install to the $479 range. Brick, stone, and above-fireplace work is quoted on site. Every number is fixed in writing before we start.

Can you hide the cables inside the wall legally?

Yes, with a recessed in-wall power kit. It places a proper receptacle behind the screen and feeds it from an existing outlet with in-wall rated cable. Simply pushing a TV power cord into the wall is a fire-code violation, and we will not do it.

Can you mount a TV above a fireplace?

Usually. We measure mantel surface temperature during use and check for a viewable angle. Where heat or height is a problem we recommend a pull-down mount that brings the screen to eye level, or a different wall entirely.

Can you mount on brick or a stone fireplace?

Yes. Masonry is drilled with the correct bit and anchored into solid material, never into mortar joints alone. Stone veneer is assessed first because the substrate behind it varies from house to house.

Do you supply the mount?

We can supply the correct mount at retail price, or install one you already own if it is rated for your screen weight and pattern. We tell you before the visit if the mount you bought will not carry the TV safely.
