Whole-home integration

You already own the devices. Let's make them one system

Most homes we visit have good hardware and nine apps. We audit everything connected, pick the platform that fits how your household lives, then rebuild naming, rooms, and automations so lights, locks, cameras, climate, and audio answer to one command.

  • Apple Home · Google · Alexa
  • Home Assistant capable
  • Scene design
  • Previous-owner recovery
  • $2M insured

Two ways we help

New installation, or fixing what is already there

Roughly half of our work is repairing systems installed by someone else. Pick the track that matches your situation.

New installation

One system instead of nine apps

We audit every connected device in the house, choose the hub platform that fits how you live, then rebuild naming, rooms, and automations so lights, locks, cameras, climate, and audio respond to one command.

  • Full device audit and platform recommendation
  • Hub or controller installed — Apple Home, Google Home, Alexa, Home Assistant
  • Consistent room and device naming across every platform
  • Scenes built around your day: wake, leave, arrive, goodnight
  • Optional wall tablet or keypad control

Automations that broke and nobody can edit

Systems built by a previous owner, a builder, or a departed installer usually still work — they just answer to an account nobody has. We take ownership back and make the logic readable again.

  • Recovering devices tied to a previous owner or installer account
  • Rebuilding automations that stopped firing after an update
  • Migrating between Alexa, Google Home, and Apple Home
  • Consolidating duplicate and orphaned devices
  • Handover documentation so you can edit it yourself

What's included

Everything inside a NovaProHome install

Engineered, permitted where required, and documented before we leave your driveway.

Audit before hardware

We inventory every connected device and tell you what to keep before anyone suggests buying more.

Platform chosen for you

Apple Home, Google Home, Alexa, or Home Assistant — selected on how your household actually behaves, not on what we stock.

Naming that survives

Consistent room and device names across every platform, so voice commands work the first time for everyone.

Scenes around your day

Wake, leave, arrive, movie, goodnight — built and tuned with you rather than shipped as defaults.

Local control preserved

Critical automations run locally wherever the hardware allows, so an internet outage does not lock you out.

Ownership recovered

Devices tied to a builder, previous owner, or vanished installer transferred into your accounts.

Optional wall control

A hallway tablet or keypad for the people who will never open an app.

You get the documentation

Written handover of accounts, device list, and automation logic — so you are never locked to us.

Common questions

Whole-home integration FAQ

Can you make devices from different brands work together?

Almost always. Matter, HomeKit, and the major hubs bridge most modern gear, and Home Assistant covers the stubborn remainder. During the audit we tell you plainly which devices integrate cleanly and which are worth replacing.

Which platform should I use — Alexa, Google Home, or Apple Home?

It depends on the phones in the house. All-iPhone households get the smoothest result from Apple Home. Mixed households usually land on Google Home or Alexa. Homes with heavy automation needs or privacy concerns are best served by Home Assistant running locally.

The previous owner set up the smart home and I have no access. Can you fix it?

Yes, this is one of our most common calls. Depending on the device, we either factory reset and re-enroll it in your account or complete the manufacturer's ownership transfer. You end up with every device under accounts you control.

Will my automations stop working if the internet goes out?

Not the important ones, if the system is designed properly. We keep lighting, locks, and climate on locally executed automations wherever the hardware supports it, so an outage costs you remote access rather than a house that stops responding.

Do I have to stay with you for support?

No. You receive documentation of accounts, devices, and automation logic at handover, so you or any other installer can maintain it. An optional support plan exists for households that would rather not touch it themselves.
